Problem

DHL required a solution within Africa to confirm proof of delivery of credit cards from
International Banks to their clients.

Solution

A unique Information on Delivery Digital Form was created that required the driver to
print the clients ID number and signature using a digital pen and then attach a
photograph taken from their cell phone. The driver would then submit the duly
completed form with the image of the clients Identity Document. DHL would receive the
image of the form, picture of ID and xml with the pertinent information for verification.

Benefits

Staff at DHL immediately verify the data and confirm the ID number to image and then
accept the xml into the DHL system. This automatically updates the delivery and back
stamps the confirmation back to their client. The benefit of security that the credit card
has been delivered to the correct consignee with live data adds tremendous value to
both DHL and its clients.
